Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH)

Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) is a common condition affecting the hip joint neonates and infants. It is recognised that the earlier an abnormality of the infant hip is detected, the simpler and more effective the treatment will be, leading to the best possible outcome for patients.

The resources provided below are based on current best practice evidence, and aim to assist clinicians when screening, assessing and managing DDH.

For further information, clinicians are encouraged to contact their local Paediatric Service.
