Bingara Multi Purpose Service

Situated in the Gwydir Shire, north-west NSW this MPS has 21 beds and caters for accident and emergency, acute patients, and has residential aged care facilities. The Community Health Centre is on the same premises and offers services from Community Health Nurses, Child & Adolescent Family Nurse, Physiotherapist, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Dietician and Occupational Therapist. A range of primary health care programs are regularly available including healthy lifestyle programs, asthma education, diabetes education, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, ante-natal classes, immunisation, and pre-school screening. Other programs are offered on an as needs basis.
