Cystic Fibrosis Unit

Investigation and management of children with cystic fibrosis (CF), from diagnosis to transition to adult care.

Three regional clinics are held per year to Armidale, Tamworth and Taree.

This is the region's referral centre for diagnostic sweat tests - offering same day results, clinical support and genetic counselling. Sweat tests should be booked through the CF Clinical Nurse Consultant on 4985 5407.

Hours:	8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday Outpatient clinic held every Tuesday
Referral needed:	Yes - a referral from a general practitioner is required for outpatient clinics, but not for inpatient care.
Eligibility criteria:	Children aged 0-18 years.
