
A community-based service to children aged 2-12 years and their families, covering both developmental and psychosocial issues. The team includes paediatricians, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and speech pathologists. Based at the Wallsend Child and Family Centre, the team provides services from a number of outreach facilities in the Hunter, including home and school visits. Team members work in consultation and collaboration with professional staff from other agencies that may also be working with our client group.

| Eligibility criteria: | Children 2-12 years with multiple developmental concerns in cognition and learning, fine and gross motor skills, visual-motor skills, visual spatial awareness, speech, language and social-communication. Specialised programs are offered for children presenting with aggression, violent behaviour and sexualised behaviour. |
