This is a level two acute care facility. Services provided include:

• Adult and paediatric emergency care 24/7
• Adult acute medical inpatient care
• Adult post acute surgical care and recuperation
• Adult palliative care
• Adult emergency respite Monday to Friday
• Post natal care for women eligible for early discharge from their obstetric hospital.

Tomaree Community Hospital is staffed with a minimum of two registered nurses with advanced life support training ensuring care and assistance 24hrs a day. A doctor is on call for emergencies and inpatients.
