As tertiary services for allergy services are predominantly
metropolitan based, children with allergies and immune disorders
living in regional and rural areas are disadvantaged by distance.
We offer allergy outreach services to take the doctors to the
needy families, minimising or eliminating the emotionald and financial
stress associated with travel. Allery outreach clinics occur at
the following sites:
Port Macquarie
Tamworth
These clinics are attended by the consultant, nurse and dietitian.
Skin prick testing is provided by this team.
