Catering for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years,
the Paediatric Endocrine Service provides comprehensive inpatient and
outpatient services to children and adolescents in the Hunter area and
regional NSW through our hospital-based and outreach services. Services
are provided by a multi-disciplinary team including Paediatric Endocrinologists,
Diabetes and Endocrine Clinical Nurse Consultants, Dietitians and Social
Worker. The services provided are:
inpatient services including diagnostic, acute
care, education and stabilisation of newly diagnosed and pre-existing
diabetes
diabetes and endocrine outpatient clinic
diabetes outreach clinics in Tamworth, Armidale,
Ballina, Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Forster, Taree and
Muswellbrook twice per year.

switchboard on 4921 3000 and asking for the paediatric endocrinologist-on-call
