Treatment of Musculoskeletal Disorders Related to Endocrine Dysfunction

The endocrine / metabolism system in a child’s body is essential for:

  • Growth
  • Sexual development
  • Metabolism of vitamins and minerals
  • Production and function of chemicals used by the body

Endocrine / metabolism diseases can affect bone growth and development.  Your General Practitioner or Paediatrician will refer you and your child to a Paediatric Orthopaedic doctor and / or a Paediatric Endocrine doctor for treatment and management of your child’s condition.
