Treatment of Musculoskeletal Growth Disturbances in
Children at John Hunter Children’s Hospital
If your child has a suspected growth disturbance it
is important to follow this up with your General Practitioner.
Your GP may refer you for a specialist appointment
with a Paediatrician, Paediatric Endocrinologist and/or Paediatric Orthopaedic
Specialist. Children with a bony growth disturbance may need to be monitored
on an ongoing basis until they reach skeletal maturity.
