Orthotics / Braces / Splints / AFOs

Sometimes your child may need to have an orthosis, splint or brace to hold their body or limb in a desired position.

Whilst we endeavour to assist with orthotics fittings on the day of treatment, it is ultimately the responsibility of you, as a parent, to ensure fittings are attended.

If your child needs a:

  • Splint
  • Brace
  • AFO
  • Other orthotic device

Payment

There are several payment options, please discuss these with the orthopaedic team.

  • Occupational therapist
  • Physiotherapist

Botulinum Toxin Days (Botox™)

If your child is due to have Botoxand will require new splints or AFOs to be measured on the same day, please call:

Please state:

  • Your child’s name
  • Date of the procedure
  • Which orthotist you require
  • If your child is having plasters on the same day
